EVEREST EXPEDITION
Mt. Everest, the highest Mountain on earth known in Tibetan as Jomolungma (Goddess Mother of Mountains) and Sargarmatha in Nepali is one of the most sought-after climbs by many. It is believed to be the abode of the goddess Jomo Miyolangsangma, the Goddess of Inexhaustible Giving.
Khangri Experience strives to provide one on one guide service to the top of Everest led by a highly experienced team of Sherpas with your safety, success and overall experience in mind. To do so, we are committed to keep our expedition team small and provide high quality logistics.
We hope to have fun, form lasting bonds of friendship over the course of the expedition and give you insight to how our ancestors and our people have made their way to the top of Chomolongma since Tenzin Norgay and Sir Edmund Hillary first stepped on the peak. Our entire team is hand selected by our lead guide Lakpa Rita Sherpa, to fit the needs of the expedition. We ensure that all the members are fit, capable and have previous experience so we can focus on safety, good decision making and an overall goal of summit to the top of the world and safe return back to basecamp. Unlike other operators, we will provide oxygen starting at camp 2 on summit rotation. In addition to one to one ratio, we will also provide a second sherpa guide for each climber on summit day to help assist to the peak and provide max flow of oxygen beyond south col. We will also provide helicopter flight from basecamp to Lukla after the summit that is included in the price you pay. Minimum of 5 climbers on each helicopter flight.
Our program is designed with an approach to acclimate at small increments so that your experience is enjoyable. We will be spending a couple of days at basecamp training on ladders, getting familiar with equipment, and getting to know the team.
We also provide Everest and Lhotse combination expeditions. Many of our Sherpa guides have guided Everest and Lhotse within 24 hours of the summit of Mount Everest.
