1 DAY BEGINNER MOUNTAINEERING COURSE
This program aims to equip participants with fundamental skills and knowledge necessary for safe and successful mountain climbs. By the end of this course, participants will be able to effectively navigate through basic terrain, utilize essential equipment, and execute fundamental techniques, setting the stage for future mountain adventures.
Our course will cover techniques such as snow and ice travel, crampon use, ice axe handling, self-arrest maneuvers, and basic navigation in alpine environments. You'll be taught proper walking methods across snowy and icy terrain, refining skills such as precise footwork, balance maintenance, and effective resting techniques. Our guides will provide thorough instruction on the proper usage of ice axe, self-arrest techniques and rope traveling etiquettes.
