**Note: Day 1 and Day 2 are allocated for your travel time to Kathmandu.

Day 3: Arrive in Kathmandu

Once you arrive at the Kathmandu airport, our team will meet you at the airport and assist you in checking into the Yak and Yeti Hotel located at the center of Kathmandu. Gear check and orientation will be conducted that evening.

Day 4: Sightseeing in Kathmandu

After breakfast, you’ll visit various famous landmarks, including the Buddhist Stupa, Swayambhu Nath (known as the monkey temple), Boudhanath, the Hindu Temple, and the cremation center Pashupati Nath. After lunch, last-minute shopping and a welcome dinner.

Day 5: Fly to Lukla/Trek to Phakding (8,563ft.)

We’ll take an early morning flight to Lukla. Here, we will meet our sherpas, staff, and porters, and begin our trek to Phakding (8,563ft).

Day 6: Trek to Namche Bazaar (11,286 ft.)

From Phakding, we will hike along the Dudh Koshi river, crossing high suspension bridges, to Namche Bazaar (11,286ft), the trading center of Khumbu. This is where the Tibetan and Nepali traders exchange goods, and it is also the gateway to the Himalayas.

  • Time: 5-6 hours

Day 7: Trek to Hotel Everest View (12,730ft.)

After breakfast, we take an acclimatization hike to Hotel Everest View, where you will have a great view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and many other neighboring peaks. In the afternoon, you can visit the Namche Bazaar.

Day 8: Trek to Thame (12,303 ft)

We trek to Thame, home to renowned climbers such as Tenzing Norgay, the first to climb Everest, Ang Rita Sherpa, who has summited Everest 10 times without oxygen, Kami Rita Sherpa, who has climbed Everest 30 times, and Lakpa Rita Sherpa, the first Sherpa/Nepali to climb the highest peak of every continent.

Day 9: Trek to Khumjung (12,434 ft.)

From Thame, we hike back towards Namche for 2.5 hours and then take the upper trail to Khumjung, home of the Edmund Hillary school that was built in 1961 by Sir Edmund Hillary and the Himalayan trust.

  • Time: 5-6 hours

Day 10: Trek to Pangboche (13,074ft.)

From Khumjung we will descend to Phungi Thanga, crossing Dudh Koshi River and then ascend to Tengboche (12,683ft.), through the rhododendron forest and continue to Pangboche.

  • Time: 5-6 hours

Day 11: Trek to Dingboche (14,469 ft.)

From Pangboche, the vegetation will change to a high alpine zone. We will be trekking along the left side of Dudh Koshi river until we eventually reach Dingboche.

  • Time: 3-4 hours

Day 12: Rest and acclimatization day

We will hike above Dingboche to Nagarjun hill (to gain 2,000 ft. elevation). From there, we will have a great view of Lhotse, Island Peak, Tabuche, Cholatse, Lobuche Peak, Amadablam, Baruntse and Makalu.

  • Time: 3-4 hours

Day 13: Trek to Lobuche (16,174 ft.)

From Dingboche, we will head to Lobuche. We will stop at Thukla for tea or lunch. After lunch, we will trek to reach the plateau where we will see many of the Sherpa memorials, including Scott Fisher and many other non-Sherpa climbers.

  • Time: 5-6 hours

Day 14: Trek to Gorak Shep and EBC (16,814 ft.)

From Lobuche, the trail to Gorak Shep winds through the glacial moraine. At Gorak Shep, we will have our lunch. After lunch, we will hike to Everest Base Camp (17,500ft.) and then back to Gorak Shep to sleep.

  • Time: 5-6 hours

Day 15: Climb Kala Patthar (18,200 ft.)

We will be climbing Kala Patthar (18,200ft.) where we’ll have stunning views of Mount Everest. After, we’ll head back to Dhukla.

  • Time: 7 hours

Day 16: Trek to Tengboche (12,664ft.)

From Dukla, we’ll pass through the charming village of Pheriche, known for its breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains. Roughly 30 minutes from Pheriche, we will reach the path previously followed on the ascent to Tengboche, renowned for its sacred monastery and awe-inspiring vistas.

  • Time: 5-6 hours

Day 17: Trek to Namche Bazaar (11,286ft.)

We will hike the same route we took as we ascended until Sanasa. From there, we will hike the lower trail to Namche Bazaar.

  • Time: 4-5 hours

Day 18: Trek to Lukla (9,383 ft.)

Today will be a long day with us hiking back to Lukla on the same route.

  • Time: 7 hours

Day 19: Fly from Lukla to Kathmandu

Depending on the weather, most of the time we depart from Lukla early in the morning. The flight to Kathmandu is roughly 45 minutes. We’ll check in the hotel and meet around 6:00 pm for farewell dinner.

Day 20-21: Fly home

Note: The last three days of the trek can be quite strenuous, particularly after reaching Everest Base Camp and Kala Patthar. There is an option to shorten the trip by four days should you want to purchase a helicopter flight. The cost of this helicopter service ranges from $500.00 to $800.00 per person, depending on the number of passengers. Advance reservations for this service are required.

NOTE: Day 1 and 2 comprise your travel days to arrive in Kathmandu.

Day 7: Trek to Hotel Everest View(12,730 ft.)

After breakfast we take an acclimatization hike to Hotel Everest View, where you will have a great view of Everest, Lhotse, Nuptse, Ama Dablam, and many other peaks. In the afternoon, you can visit Namche Bazaar.

Day 8: Trek to Tengboche (12,687 ft.)

We will travel high above the Dudh Koshi river with views of Ama Dablam, Thamserku, Everest, and Lhotshe. We will pass Kanjuma and then descend to Phungi Thanga where we will stop for lunch and then climb a steep hill up to Tengboche.

(Roughly 6 miles/5 to 6 hours)

Day 9: Trek to Dingboche (14,469 ft.)

Today we’ll see the lush rhododendron forest, cross the Dudh Koshi river, and enjoy stunning views of Ama Dablam. From Pangboche, the landscape transitions to a high alpine zone. We’ll hike until we reach Dingboche.

(Roughly 7 miles/5 to 6 hours)

Day 10: Rest and Acclimatization

We will be hiking up to Nangkartshang Ri for our acclimatization aiming to gain 2,500ft.

Day 11: Trek to Lobuche(16,174 ft.)

From Dingboche, we head to Lobuche. Our Trek starts with a fairly easy hike to Thukla. We ascend to a plateau where we view Sherpa memorials including Scott Fischer and many other none Sherpa climbers.

(Roughly 5 Miles/ 4 to 5hours)

Day 12: Trek to Gorak Shep (16,814 ft.)

From Lobuche, the trail to Gorak Shep winds through the glacial moraine. At Gorak Shep, we will have lunch and then hike to Everest Base Camp (17,500ft). From there we will hike back to Gorak Shep.

(Roughly 7.4 miles/5-6 hours)

Day 13: Kaala Patthar (18,519ft.) back to Dzongla (15850 ft.)

We start early morning to climb Kaala Patthar and view the stunning sunrise over Everest (~3 hours), then we descend to Gorak Shep and continue to Dzongla.

(Roughly 10 miles/ 7 to 8 hours)

Day 14: Cho La Pass to Dragnag (15,748 ft.)

We’ll ascend to to reach Cho La Pass (17,815 ft.) You may need micro spikes to traverse the glacier. After reaching the pass, we begin a descent of approximately 2,000 feet, ultimately arriving at Dragnag.

(Roughly 6 miles/6 to 7 hours)

Day 15: Gokyo Lake (15,583 ft.)

Today's journey will be relatively short. We cross the Ngozumpa Glacier, known as the largest glacier in all of the Himalayas, before continuing to Gokyo Lake. Once we arrive at Gokyo Lake, we’ll have a leisurely afternoon to enjoy the surroundings.

Day 16: Gokyo Ri back to Gokyo

We embark on a challenging hike up Gokyo Ri (17,575 ft.). The trail ascends steeply above Gokyo Lake, making it a demanding climb. However, the incredible panoramic views from the summit make all the effort worthwhile. At the top, you'll be treated to breathtaking vistas of the surrounding mountains, with Everest majestically towering above them. After descending from Gokyo Ri, we return to Gokyo for lunch.

Day 17: Renjo La Pass to Lungden (14,370 ft.)

This day will be another long and challenging day as we cross the Renjo la pass (17,585ft.) Once you reach the pass, you’ll be rewarded with incredible views of the surrounding mountains before descending to Lungden.

(Roughly 8-9 miles/ 7-8 hours)

Day 18: Trek to Thame (12,303 ft.)

Today's trek will be relatively easy. Our destination is Thame village, home to renowned climbers such as Tenzing Norgay, the first to climb Everest, Ang Rita Sherpa, who has summited Everest 10 times without oxygen, Apa Sherpa first person to climb Everest 21times, Kami Rita Sherpa, who has climb Everest 30 times and Lakpa rita Sherpa, first Sherpa/Nepali to climb the highest peak of every continent. In the afternoon we will visit the Thami Monastery oldest monastery in Khumbu.

Day 19: Trek to Monjo (9,300 ft.)

We descend along the Bhote Koshi river, passing through beautiful rhododendron and Pine forests, to Namche Bazaar in time for lunch. Afterward, we continue our journey to Monjo.

Day 20: Trek to Lukla (9,383 ft.)

Today will be pretty short day compared to all other days. About 3 to 4 hours down to Lukla.

Day 20: Fly to Kathmandu

Depending on weather, most of the time we will depart from Lukla early in the morning. The flight to Kathmandu is roughly 45 minutes. We will check in our hotel and meet around 6 pm for a farewell dinner.
