MANASLU EXPEDITION
Eight highest peak of the world standing at 8,164 m (26,781 ft), Manaslu is located in central west part of Nepal, in the mansari himal range. The name Manaslu (mountain of spirit), is derived from the Sanskrit word Manasa meaning “intellect” or “soul”. The long ridges and valley glaciers of the mountain offer possible approaches from all directions but the one from the south is hard hitting while the northeast face route is the most common. The mountain was first climbed in 1965 May 9th by Toshio Imanashi from Japan and Gyalzen Norbu Sherpa.
Our expedition will be led by Lakpa Rita Sherpa and his teammates who have made several summits to Mt. Everest and Mt. Manaslu. Khangri Experience will provide a one to one guide to climber ratio with supplemental oxygen for summit day to enhance the success of the expedition.
Our trip will begin with a short flight from Kathmandu into Samagoun on a heli-ride included in the price of the expedition. After spending a few days acclimatizing, we will head up to base camp. We will also review technical skills at base camp before we begin climbing to higher camps.

Our refund policy also protects other climbers that have dedicated their time and capital to the expedition.
